Fall Fashion Staples

The end of September means one thing: we have officially entered fall! Call me basic, but I LOVE cozying up in a comfy sweater under a huge blanket while sipping a pumpkin spice latte during this time of year. When I do go out, though, I love taking advantage of the weather to show off some of my favorite outfits. Here are my three favorite fall fashion staples:

One of my least favorite things about summer is that I have to hang up my favorite hoodies and sweatshirts for months. The minute the temperature begins to drop, though, you’ll find me swapping my tank tops out for my favorite crew neck. Having a few good quality sweatshirts with cute designs are perfect for a casual day of running errands, or for pulling off a “cute but comfy” look with a pair of jeans and sneakers.

I. Love. Cardigans. The worst part about wearing them in the winter, though, is that they aren’t warm enough to protect you from the snowy air. But, covering them with a bulky winter coat defeats the purpose of the outfit, which is why I LOVE fall. This time of year, it’s too chilly to leave the house in short sleeves, but not cold enough that you need anything heavier than your favorite knitted sweater!

Don’t get me wrong, I love my platforms and sandals, but I’m certainly not complaining when I finally get the opportunity to strut around in my favorite combat boots or heeled booties! Investing in one or two fashionable pairs of boots will easily elevate your look to the next level.
