Name something more comforting than curling up under a blanket with a hot mug of coffee while you revisit Stars Hallow, Connecticut for the umpteenth time through your TV … I’ll wait.
That’s actually a trick question because I can’t think of ANYTHING more comforting than the above scenario. There’s just something about Gilmore Girls that feels like home, especially during the fall. So, to make your life easier, here are the three best fall episodes of Gilmore Girls that you should stream immediately:
“Ted Koppel’s Big Night Out” (Season 4, Episode 9)
I’m not much of a football fan, but even I can appreciate the culture surrounding fall football games, and what better way to do so than to tailgate with Richard and Emily Gilmore?!
“You Jump, I Jump, Jack” (Season 5 Episode 7)
Rory joins Logan Huntzberger and The Life and Death Brigade on a woodsy outing as her feelings for Logan are growing just as quickly as the leaves are changing. Need I say more?
“Hay Bale Maze” (Season 7, Episode 18)
Even though this episode is set in the Spring, there’s nothing that screams fall quite like a hay bale maze. PLUS, Rory brings Logan to her hometown for the first time AND Luke and Lorelei finally talk approach a reconciliation and talk about the issues that drove them apart.
